My First Blog

So this is interesting I haven't ever created one of these things before but hey -why not! People have always told me that my life is like a book of short stories or a sitcom so why not committ some of that to paper (well you know) every once in a while.
The past 6 months or so have been kind of crazy -one of the biggest things going on with my family is that my brother-in-law (who i don't really remember not being a part of my family since my sister is 9 years older) is fighting gallbladder cancer and a tumor on his liver. Saying that will somewhat explain why at 3:30 am this morning I was going off on a teenager that had chosen that moment to call some girl who had given him a 'fake' number to see if she had liked the movie. Of course a call that late at night (sadly that is the state of affairs -I am too old to get those random late night phone calls) scared me to death. So I am awake the cat is awake and I am giving hell to this boy. He was so apologetic -I actually feel a little bad about it now in the light of day.
Question posed though - why do people give out 'fake' numbers? they are bound to be somebody's number that doesn't want to talk to the boy you meet at the movies anymore than you did, especially in the middle of the night. Just rude - be honest you don't want him to call you tell him so. Believe me he will appreicate it in the long run -cause it just might be MY number.
